Million Dollar Listing: New York's Luis D. Ortiz Is Moving to Paris: 'Always Trust Your Gut!'
Au revoir, Luis D. Ortiz!
The former Million Dollar Listing: New York star, who announced he was leaving the Bravo series in last year’s season finale, is changing his permanent address from the City that Never Sleeps to the City of Love.
“I can’t believe a month ago I decided to move to Paris and in three days from now it will actually happen,” the real estate agent, 30, wrote on Facebook on Sunday. “Always trust your gut! Don’t ignore it, or worst, convince it that is wrong.”
Ortiz also admitted in the post that he has never actually visited his soon-to-be-home.
“People can’t believe that a guy who has traveled so much has never been to Paris,” he says. “And, in a poetic way, it’s kind of great that I have never been because I will be seeing Paris for the very first time when I plan to stay.”
“Look who stopped by to say goodbye before moving to Paris!” Eklund writes in an Instagram post, adding that the separation is only temporary. “I’m so sad to see you leave, but my tickets to visit you in [France] are already booked!”

Eklund adds, “Love you brother, what a journey we’ve had, but our friendship is just beginning.”
Costar Ryan Serhant, 32, also joined the two for a mini MDLNY reunion in February ahead of Ortiz’ move, with Eklund sharing this post below of the trio with the caption, “A lot of love today.”
Ortiz made the decision to leave the high-stakes real estate series in July 2016 saying, “It wasn’t making me happy,” according to The Daily Dish. Hopefully, his relocation is a step toward achieving his goal to “choose happiness.”
Fingers-crossed for a Million Dollar Listing: Paris spinoff!
