PHOTOS: Matt Lauer Lists Another Hamptons Estate, This Time for $18 Million
Home Sweet Hamptons
Matt Lauer is at it again! After picking up Richard Gere’s massive mansion and promptly listing — and selling — his Southampton cottage, the Today co-host, 58, has put his Sag Harbor estate on the market. This 6-bedroom, 7.5-bath estate is listed by the Corcoran Group for $17.995 million and its list of amenities is endless.
The yard is gigantic. Sitting on 25 acres, the lawns were designed by Anna Wintour's landscape architect Miranda Brooks and have “secret” gardens, a pool and a guesthouse.
Time to Dine
Plus, there's plenty of room for outdoor entertaining, as the estate has multiple generously sized dining areas.
Although the 70’x20’ heated pool is stunning in itself, the nearby pool house, wet bar and tennis court take this outdoor area to the next level of luxury.
The main house was designed by architect Daniel Romualdez, and is inspired by New England-style shingled homes.
Pops of Color
Touches like a bright red door and lush landscaping make for a welcoming exterior to this traditional-style home.
Muriel Brandolini served as the interior designer for the 8,000-square-foot space, and the finished product is full of color and comfort.
The eat-in kitchen's instant focal point is a gorgeous, limited edition Emmanuel Babled chandelier.
Hand-painted wallpaper in the dining room adds elegance to the modern space.
Cozy Seating Spot
This sitting room has blue-painted trim, traditional wallpaper and plenty of places to cozy up with a blanket and a book.
Grand Great Room
And let’s not forget the great room: wooden beams, cathedral ceilings and an ornate fireplace — this house is the total package!
