Mandy Moore has finally finished her home sweet home!

The This Is Us star recently completed remodeling the retro ranch house that she shares with fiancé Taylor Goldsmith. The actress documented the process on social media, starting with construction all the way to her “stressful AF” move in. The frantic experience was worth the stunning finished product, though, and now she can hardly believe it’s hers!

“It doesn’t feel real coming home at the end of the day and waking up in the morning like, ‘Wow, I live here?!’” Moore says in an interview for Garnier USA and DoSomething.org’s Rinse, Recycle, Repeat campaign. “I’m just not quite used to it yet.”

Moore is passionate about her work with the program, which focuses on teaching participants the proper way to recycle with the goal of diverting 1 million beauty empties from landfills in 2018. Although she’s organized in her efforts for the greater good, she’s not always quite as put together in her own spaces (except for her pristine pantry).

“I’m trying to keep my bathroom and my house in general as clean as possible and as organized as possible,” she says. “It’s a struggle, but I try to be neat.”

We can see why she’d want to keep her rooms in line: When she showed off the final photos of the new digs — designed by Sarah Sherman Samuel — she revealed a stunning array of custom furniture, marble counters, patterned textiles and a plethora of multi-colored terrazzo throughout.

“It certainly is a dream,” she says. “I’m looking forward to creating lots and lots of memories there.”
