Love It or List It’s Hilary Farr and David Visentin agree to disagree on most things, but they’re undeniably on the same page when it comes to closets.

The HGTV stars sound off on their design stances during a game of Interior Design: Would You Rather, and when challenged with the choice of having a spacious master bathroom or master closet, both agreed the latter is a necessity.

“Have to go with a closet,” Farr, 64, the interior design half of the TV duo, tells PEOPLE. Visentin, 51, the show’s real estate pro, echoing her decision.

Although the two take opposite stances on almost everything else, including granite versus marble in the kitchen and whether or not there’s a place for carpet, they also join forces on the eternal question of whether or not one should pile throw pillows on the bed.

“I don’t want to wake up in the morning with my floor littered in throw pillows,” Visentin says.

Farr mostly agrees, but adds this tip that we can totally get behind, “You need to have at least two pillows that you don’t actually sleep on that can go in front of all the crumply stuff.”

The biggest debate, however, is whether or not to deck out the backyard with a pool or outdoor kitchen. Farr choices a pool, saying, “Even if it was only three months of the year, I’d love to have that pool in my life.”

When Visentin adamantly goes the kitchen route, Farr draws the line in the sand and withdraws any swimming privileges should Visentin want to visit.

“Then you won’t be coming to my kitchen for dinner,” he quips.

“That’s fine,” she says. “That’s why God invented takeout.”
