Lil Jon now has a lil house.

The Atlanta-based rapper-producer, 45, is the latest celebrity to jump on the tiny house trend, but he’s not moving into his pint-size space. In Saturday’s episode of FYI’s Tiny House Nation, host John Weisbarth and his team build a fully functioning recording studio in the backyard of Jon’s suburban home.

The 700-square-foot space, which arguably toes the line between tiny house and standard one-bedroom apartment, will be outfitted with a sound booth, hangout area and enough power to support all the musical equipment required to produce his music.

Viewers familiar with the rapper’s flashy style might be surprised by some of the structure’s aesthetic leanings. At the request of Jon’s wife Nicole, the space will match the rather traditional style of the main house, which they also share with 17-year-old son Nate, and will serve double duty as a tiny guest house for visiting family and friends.

Watch an exclusive clip of the episode above and tune in to FYI on Saturday, February 25 at 9pm ET to see how it all plays out.
