A London Lady in Los Angeles
Marissa Hermer is hopping the pond for a little SoCal sunshine. The American-born Ladies of London star has just moved into a stunning new home in Los Angeles with her husband, Matt, and children Max, 5, Jake, 2, and Sadie, 8 months.
Hermer quelled the fears of LoL fans that thought she might be making an exit, clarifying on Twitter that the family will be splitting their time between this home and their London base.

Living Large (Literally)
The Hermers' new home is a 6-bedroom, 9-bath estate complete with a swimming pool and playground where, she says, "the boys can run around like monkeys and Sadie has room for all her baby toys."

Where L.A. Wins Out Over LDN
"It is amazing - coming from living in a Mews House in London - to slide open the wall of glass doors onto a lawn and kids' playhouse," Hermer tells PEOPLE. "It is the quintessential L.A. indoor-outdoor living, where the boys are in their playhouse and Sadie is in the kitchen with me in her jumperoo. It is just great for our family."

The Kitchen as the Boardroom
Her favorite room in the house is also a family favorite: the kitchen. "This kitchen is enormous, with plenty of room for a large gathering and a big island," she says. "When I became a mom and moved from the office to the home, the kitchen island sort of [became] my new boardroom," the former public relations professional points out.

Bottles Up
The formal dining room, just off the two-story foyer, has a special feature that's just for the grown-ups: an adjacent wine storage space (for when the separate, full-size wine tasting room isn't near enough, of course).

Wide Open Spaces
The gracious master suite also boasts a fully retractable wall of glass to open the space to the outdoors. But Hermer's favorite part is the glamorous adjoining bath.

Keeping It in the Family
"I am obsessed with my bathroom in this house," says Hermer. "[We] have a huge shower where we can shower with all the kids together, and also a bath where we can all climb inside."

The Endless Extras
In addition to the generous wine cellar, the home boasts a paneled library, theater, gym, underground 6-car garage, and secondary chef's kitchen - a must for the budding cookbook author. (An American Girl in London is available for preorder.)
Ladies of London airs Tuesdays at 10/9c on Bravo.
