When you’re hosting the whole Kardashian-Jenner clan, you better have a decked out dining room.

Kourtney Kardashian is up for the challenge thanks to a newly redesigned space that features a huge table with seating for 12. “My dining room is one of my favorite rooms in my house,” she writes in a new post on her app. “I use the space to entertain — it’s perfect for when I have the whole family over.” She decorated the impressive area with her go-to design guru Martyn Lawrence Bullard, who she says, “helped me find all the special pieces.”

Bullard designed the custom table to fit a collection of Pierre Jeanneret chairs that the duo collected from various shops and had re-covered to look like a (massive) matching suite. A modern chandelier, which Kardashian, 37, says “feels much cooler than a traditional chandelier” hangs overhead, and a print by artist Roy Lichtenstein brings “a pop of color” to the otherwise neutral space. It’s a recipe she also repeats in her dark-walled office, where color-coded bookshelves provide a playful bright spot.

When it comes to place settings, the experienced hostess reveals: “I like to keep table settings minimal.” Her favorite pieces to add a signature luxe note to the contemporary design include, “white Hermès plates, modern silverware and cool glasses with marble bases (instead of traditional stemware).”

In her post, Kardashian also shares that it’s her tradition to have her whole family over for brunch on Christmas Day. “I’ll have a big buffet in the kitchen and set up the table for everyone,” she writes. Thanks to this oversize setup, younger sisters Kendall and Kylie won’t likely be relegated to the kids’ table this year!
