Justin Trudeau is supporting the arts, starting in his own home.

Stuck inside on a recent rainy day, the Canadian Prime Minister entertained his children, Xavier, 9, Ella-Grace, 8, and Hadrien, 3, with a serious art project: painting a large mural on their basement wall.

“What did we do after staring at the beige basement walls on a rainy day? A mural!!!! Nothing better than art and colours to wake up our spirits. A vos pinceaux les enfants!!!” his wife, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, 41, wrote in an Instagram post. The accompanying photo shows the PM, 45, sporting his most casual look, a pair of plaid pajama pants and a tee shirt, while helping to paint a bucolic scene featuring a beach and a clifftop castle.

Trudeau regrammed his wife’s photo. which also includes a French translation of her message and a string of heart emojis. His followers showed their appreciation for the post portraying the leader as a regular dad and husband, commenting and liking the photo. It currently has over 68,000 likes, more than three times Trudeau’s typical number on the social media site.

The Prime Minister captured the attention of Americans earlier this week, when he responded to a comment made by Matthew Perry, who identifies as “half-Canadian,” on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The Friends star admitted he once beat up Trudeau when they attended elementary school together in Ottawa. On Saturday morning, Trudeau jokingly tweeted that he’s ready for a rematch, writing, “I’ve been giving it some thought, and you know what, who hasn’t wanted to punch Chandler?”
