Inside Jamie-Lynn Sigler's Laid-Back and Stylish L.A. House: 'This Could Really Be Our Forever Home'
Jamie-Lynn Sigler's 'Forever Home'
With baby boy number two on the way, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, 36, and her pro baseball player husband, Cutter Dykstra, 28, needed their Los Angeles home to reflect their growing family. “We felt like this could really be our forever home,” Sigler tells Apartment Therapy. “For that reason, we wanted to take the time and invest, so it would be everything we would want in a house.”
Because they built the house from the ground up, the couple needed a little help adding character throughout — which is where interior designer Ryan White stepped in.
“The moment you meet Jamie, you’re struck by her genuine warmth,” White told the site. “Her home had to encapsulate that, which, let’s be honest, isn’t always a given in a new construction.”
“New homebuilders have started to land the larger closets and marble kitchen islands we love but often leave the architecture lacking in personality,” White continues. “Jamie and I worked to bake that in, to give her a home that wouldn’t feel like every other house on the block.”

Cozy Landing Spot
Another must for Sigler and Dykstra: next level coziness. “Comfort is the most important thing to us,” she says. “Not just because of kids, but for us too and our friends.”

All in the Details
Sigler’s spaces still play to their neutral comfort zone, but boast little details that make a big statement, like the gold-rimmed range hood and basket-weave pendant lights in the kitchen.
The chic-meets-comfortable theme incorporates textures like leather, faux chinchilla and Alpaca while “keeping other elements clean and comfortable like the dining table and built-in banquette,” White explains. “It’s elevated, but no one is having a nervous breakdown when a slice of pizza falls off a plate.”
Sigler echoes that mantra. “I wanted a beautifully designed, dramatic look that I wouldn’t be afraid to get a bit dirty,” she says. “Young boys are always getting into things and making messes, and I want to encourage [3 year old] Beau to explore and play without fear of being messy.”
“I’m obsessed with our master bedroom,” she says. “It’s so tranquil with all the blues and whites, and I never would have thought to have a leather headboard and frame, but it’s so cozy and smells amazing.” The custom bed gets a comfy upgrade with plush bedding, including an “insane” chunky knit throw from Serena and Lily.
White, “really pushed out boundaries in the best way possible,” Sigler says. A nook in the master bedroom features a stunning midcentury dresser topped with white vases and a few crystals for good vibes.
Home Run Design
Nods to Cutter’s career are tied in throughout the design. When asked what fictional character would find themselves at home in her pad, Sigler says, “I think Belle because we have a ton of books!”
“Each room really has its own life,” says Sigler. This bathroom is living its best, with bead-board walls, a large soaking tub and a crisp white color scheme.
And while she’s known for her work as an actress, at the end of the day, Sigler’s best role is mom. “It was important for me to have a place where I can do the everyday chores and feel relaxed,” she says. “I breathe a sigh of relief every time I step in the laundry room!”
