Inside Chrissy Teigen and John Legend's $1,600-Per-Night Bali Hotel
My body and mind have never felt so clear," says Teigen of her trip
The family stayed at the COMO Shambhala Estate, a health retreat known for its wellness menus (guests can meet with the resident nutritionist or Ayurvedic doctor on their first day to build a meal plan) and activities (rafting, yoga, and hiking are just a few options).
Over the weekend, Teigen posted pictures of the family’s vacation on Instagram: “We had the most beautiful, wonderful time in Bali. Como Shambhala, my body and mind have never felt so clear. Thank you for getting me to move again … and giving me some much-needed body and nutrition schooling!”
She also hashtagged the post #notbeingpaidtosaythis.
While at COMO Shambhala, Teigen partook in a private yoga swing class, thanking her teacher “the most patient human in the world.” The family also dressed in traditional Balinese ceremonial costumes for a photo opp. In addition to open-air yoga pavilions, guests at the resort can enjoy hydrotherapy pools (below), massages, or a meditative walk through the rice fields.
The resort is located in the middle of the jungle, a 20-minute drive north of Ubud. It has 30 rooms, including private and poolside villas.
