WATCH: These Hotel Rooms Made Completely of Ice Are the Coolest Things You'll See All Day (Pun Intended)
Travel Channel host Anthony Melchiorri explores ice hotels on the December special "Ice Hotels...Not Impossible"
Brr, it’s cold in here!
In this exclusive clip, Hotel Impossible host Anthony Melchiorri is exploring Sweden’s Icehotel for the holiday special Ice Hotels…Not Impossible, and for an abode made of literal frozen water, its amenities are pretty spectacular.
Melchiorri walks through one suite, which he says is “$1,000” a night.
“Now I know why,” he says of the room, titled “The Great Escape,” and meant to resemble a treehouse.
“Wouldn’t you like to spend a night here with someone you love?” he ponders of the space that offers ice buckets, champagne glasses, swings and more fashioned completely from ice.
The next room, deemed “Rhythm of the Arctic,” will “make you feel like a king,” according to the show host. “It just gets prettier and prettier.”
Although the sweet suites don’t offer the usual luxury details like marble bathrooms or leather furniture, Melchiorri still insists visitors are getting the high-end experience.
“What’s amazing about the space is that you come in here and truly feel like you’re on a different planet,” he says. “Doesn’t get better than this.”
Just don’t forget to pack layers when you visit!
Ice Hotels…Not Impossible airs December 26 at 9:00 p.m. EST on Travel Channel.
