Kacey Musgraves is sitting pretty in pink.
The 28-year-old country darling, who recently got engaged to fellow musician Ruston Kelly, teamed up with lifestyle blog A Beautiful Mess to give her Nashville living room a feminine makeover. And while the bright, white walls, cool butterfly chairs and jungle’s-worth of plants give the space a young, hip vibe, it’s the bubble-gum pink sofa that is the room’s undeniable centerpiece.
The scene-stealing seating is online furniture resource Article’s Emil sofa, in a color they call “quartz rose” and we call every girly-girl’s absolute must have. Article follows an increasingly common direct-to-consumer model, which aims to offer high-quality, lower-priced items by cutting out the middle man (in this case, furniture stores). They suggest that this particular couch, which goes for $1,049 on their site, would be closer to $2,000 retail. Better yet, right now, Kacey’s living room centerpiece is included in the brand’s Valentine’s Day sale — which features all of their pink seating options, of course — for $949.
Not quite sold on the bold color? Or perhaps you’re just decorating a space that’s not a bomb bachelorette pad? The Emil is also available in five more colors, including a couple play-it-safe neutrals, if you must.
