This Is the Craziest Christmas Light Display You Will See This Season

Prepare to be amazed.

The battle for the best Christmas lights is officially on, and the first house to throw their hat, or, in this case, extremely elaborate rooftop, in the ring does not disappoint.

Co-host and HGTV star Carter Oosterhouse kicks off this year’s The Great Christmas Light Fight with a home that’s totally next level. The mastermind behind the festive explosion used 250,000 lights to make his holiday hoopla a reality. And, of course, the entire show is timed to dramatic music.

“It is so expansive, it’s crazy,” Oosterhouse says of the blinding display. “It goes from one end all the way down as far as the eye can see.”

The “tallest Wisemen I’ve ever seen,” according to Oosterhouse, along with popular seasonal phrases like “Joy to the World,” as well as a Christmas tree or two for good measure are a few of the ingredients that make up the festive installation.

“This design is super impressive,” Oosterhouse says.

Sunglasses are suggested for multiple viewings.
