Azadeh and Moshen knew they were in for the toughest time of their lives when their twelve-year-old daughter, Isabella, was diagnosed with cancer. But things would get worse at the most inopportune moment when, a few months later, a massive flood caused by a burst toilet tank destroyed several rooms in their California home.

The family vacated the house, taking what they could, and designers Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent, who connected with the family through their show, Nate & Jeremiah By Design, stepped in.

In an exclusive clip of this week’s heart-wrenching episode, the family, including Isabella (who is now cancer free) and her younger brother Sebastian, 9, get to take part in a home decorating task that’s appropriately symbolic of making a fresh start: picking out a new paint color.

Check out the preview above, and tune in to Nate & Jeremiah By Design Saturdays at 9/8c on TLC.
