The couple tied the knot in a secret "winter wonderland" wedding at their home in Newport Beach, California, on Dec. 22. “We pulled off the perfect surprise wedding,” El Moussa tells PEOPLE exclusively. “Seeing the happy tears of friends and family was priceless.” 02 of 09 A Family Affair Rich Lander/CHARD Photo The couple wanted to make sure their blended family was a part of the ceremony. El Moussa, 35, shares son Brayden, 3, and daughter Taylor, 8, with her ex-husband Tarek, while Anstead, 39, has daughter Amelie, 15, and son Archie, 12, from a previous marriage. "It’s the six of us,” says Anstead. “So it was really important for them to be a part of it.” Taylor was the flower girl, Archie was the ring bearer, and Amelie walked with Brayden down the aisle. 03 of 09 'I Do' Details Rich Lander/CHARD Photo In order to keep their hush-hush wedding a secret, the couple invited 70 of their friends and family members over to their house, telling them they were going to watch a boat parade. But when the guests arrived, they saw rows of white chairs neatly arranged in the front yard, rose petals leading to an elegant floral arch, and an elegant tent in the backyard with a table for a steak dinner. Anstead, slipped into place next to the pastor, cheekily quipping “Got ya!” to the crowd. Once El Moussa made her way down the aisle and joined her husband-to-be, she exclaimed, “Surprise! That was all him,” El Moussa says. “Desserts are really important [to him].”
