Now the 31 year old shares her Southern California home with fiancé, Corey Bohan, their daughter, Kirra, and precious pup, Lady. And the only recent drama in their household was caused by a mad-dash master bedroom makeover. “We moved in literally a month before I was due,” Patridge exclusively tells PEOPLE. “I really wanted to get my room done before the baby was here.” After a little research, Patridge came across the affordable online interior decorating service, Decorist, and its director of design, Ashley Redmond, who worked with the expecting parents to create the boho-chic bedroom of their dreams in record time. 02 of 11 Bland Before Carla Choy Before the space was remade, it was a hodgepodge of items from Patridge and Bohan’s, 34, previous homes. “It was pretty bare,” she says. “I was like, okay we need to get rid of the old and start over.” 03 of 11 Airy After Carla Choy Now the room captures the beachy vibe Patridge was hoping for. “I wanted my house to feel like a Bali bungalow,” she says. “It’s very me.” 04 of 11 A Blend of Old and New Carla Choy Although she was ready to embrace a fresh look, there were a few pieces Patridge already had that she knew she wanted to incorporate, like her statement headboard from Anthropologie and a classic ladder shelf. “I love all the green,” Patridge says of her thriving indoor garden. “All the plants in here are real so it just adds life.” 05 of 11 Meaningful Displays Carla Choy As for what inspired her aesthetic, she explains, “I have so many amazing pieces from all over the world, from Costa Rica and Bali, and places that we’ve traveled that I’ve collected,” Patridge says. 06 of 11 Vacation Vibes Carla Choy Touches like a lotus light fixture, patterned accents and light wood furniture make for a relaxing retreat for the engaged couple and their daughter, who was born on June 24. “We wanted to keep it light and feel like we’re on vacation but we wanted it to be homey,” Patridge says. 07 of 11 One-of-a-Kind Wallpaper Carla Choy The black crocodile wallpaper is a luxe detail that adds subtle texture and interest. “It’s so cool, and Corey put it all up,” Patridge says, “He’s the best handyman!” 08 of 11 Cozy Comforts Carla Choy Globally inspired throw pillows and the detailed white headboard bring a bohemian feeling to the bed.
