Teyana Taylor Says It 'Feels Dope' to Be a Body Icon: 'You Can Be Superwoman'
Teyana Taylor has everyone upping their #bodygoals.
It’s been a full ten days since the 25-year-old singer and dancer stunned the world in Kanye West‘s music video for “Fade” at the MTV Video Music Awards, and fans and celebrities alike still can’t get over Taylor’s epic body.
But what does Taylor have to say about being everyone’s fitspo?
“It feels dope,” she tells PEOPLE. “I think the part about it that I love the most is that [the video] inspires women to know that you can be superwoman, even with a child.”
Taylor welcomed her first child, Iman Tayla “Junie” Shumpert Jr., with husband Iman Shumpert just eight months ago – making her chiseled abs and toned arms and legs that much more impressive.
“Giving birth is a beautiful thing and I think instead of everyone being worried, like, ‘Oh is my body going to be messed up?’ This is really showing women, like, no, anything is possible.,” she tells PEOPLE.

Shortly after her VMAs debut, many questioned just how the star got so fit. Her answer: dancing.
“[The video is] also showing women the power of dance. It’s so beautiful. This is all from dance,” she says of her body. “There’s no specific workout. It’s okay to just get in the studio, even get in the gym and play some music and just move around.”
Taylor adds: “Anything is possible if you just stay focused and you stay moving.”
