Lady Gaga is making good on her promise that gaining weight won’t get her down.

The Grammy-winning singer – who told Elvis Duran that she’s gained 25 pounds – stepped out in Paris Friday wearing a tight-fitting animal print ensemble that showed off quite an hourglass figure.

On Saturday, Gaga thanked “my fans who love me no matter what, and know the meaning of real beauty&compassion,” she Tweeted. She also shared a quote attributed to Marilyn Monroe: “To all the girls that think you’re ugly because you’re not a size 0, you’re the beautiful one. It’s society who’s ugly.”

Over the summer, Gaga told Duran, “I’m dieting right now,” citing her love of Italian food and her father’s new restaurant as the reasons for her weight gain. “I really don t feel bad about it,” she added. “Not even for a second.”

“I have to be on such a strict diet constantly … I’m trying to find a new balance.”

The pop star also Tweeted Saturday about what was on her mind in Paris – and, true to form, it wasn’t the number on her scale.

“May we celebrate Coco, beauty & fashion on Les Champs Elysees w picnic!” she wrote. “I will be wearing a beautiful archive by the genial Monsieur ALAIA.”

And on Saturday evening, Gaga turned heads in a big way with a pink and blue balloon-like dress that she wore en route to her Born This Way Ball.

Coy nod to the weight gain chatter or just another unusual Mother Monster fashion decision? Your guess is as good as ours!
