Ciara is setting a goal for herself — and sticking to it.

While recently chatting with PEOPLE about her partnership with WW (formerly Weight Watchers), the 35-year-old singer spoke candidly about her successful weight loss journey and getting back to her pre-baby weight.

The "Goodies" crooner — who welcomed her third child, son Win Harrison, in July — says she is "super proud of every milestone" she has met, while recognizing that her body is different after giving birth to three children,

"Physically, your body does change," Ciara tells PEOPLE exclusively. "The older we get, the more our body changes. The more babies we have as women, the more our bodies change."

"But my desire to achieve my fitness and wellness goals, I feel like it's leveled up, to be honest," she adds. "I feel even more empowered and motivated to achieve those goals because there's really no better feeling for me personally than being able to get to that space."

In partnering with WW as a global ambassador last September, Ciara set a goal for herself to get back to her pre-baby weight.

Earlier this week, she shared that she is down 28 lbs. five months after welcoming her second child with husband Russell Wilson. The pair are also parents to daughter Sienna Princess, 3, as well as Future Zahir, 6, whom Ciara shares with her ex-fiancé, rapper Future.

"What's been really helpful with the program is that you get to enjoy yourself. It's not an extreme diet plan. It's not like you can't eat the fun foods that I believe bring us happiness or brings us joy," Ciara says. "Like for me personally, being from Atlanta and being a southern girl, I've always loved good food, good flavors and good seasoned food."

By using the WW app and the Digital 360 program, Ciara says she is ready to shed another 20 lbs. How did she choose that number? "It's going to be me getting back to my pre-baby weight."

"That's just kind of what I had my mind set on and that's kind of always my goal, post every baby," the "Level Up" singer notes. "Especially now, with having three little ones, there's just a good feeling for me about being able to get back to where I was."

But Ciara knows that her body has transformed throughout motherhood. "Carrying [Win] — and any baby — can be very taxing on the body. I think there's just something empowering about being able to get back to that set place," she says.

"The beauty marks that come with a baby — having the stretch marks and all that stuff — those things may not ever go away, but just still being able to get back to that place [remains.]"

Ciara also says she wants "to keep the sexy up" for her husband, who plays for the Seattle Seahawks.

"It's important to me to just make sure I keep the sexy up with everything that I want to do," she shares with PEOPLE. "And I have the love of my life in my life, so I always say I'm a cougar because I am a cougar with him."

The couple prioritizes staying fit and healthy, especially considering the histories of their families. "Unfortunately, we both have diabetes in our families," Ciara says, adding that she's "very mindful" of that.

After being married for four years, fitness remains a big part of their lives. "It's good motivated energy that's happening while we're working out together," Ciara adds.

Ultimately, she knows that being a happy, healthy woman and mom comes down to self-care. "I want to make sure I'm taking care of myself in the process. I think if you take care of yourself, then you're able to take care of your whole ecosystem in the best way possible."
