Your kids came back home with tons of candy loot this year! Instead of letting it get stale in the cupboard—or worse, eating it all yourself—make it vanish in sweet treats. It’s time to turn on the creativity—and your oven.

Almond Joy Brownies

One taste of these treats made with fun-size Almond Joys—a delish mix of almonds, chocolate and coconut—and you’ll never look at the fudgy square the same way again. Though the initial steps may sound similar to other brownie recipes, you’ll know you’re onto something special when you place the minis on top of the chocolate batter. Almond Joys have been around since 1946—how come no one thought of this decadent treat sooner?

The ingredients in this recipe are insane—marshmallows, popcorn, chocolate graham- cracker cookies and candy corn. How could these crunchy-sweet balls of joy not be on everyone’s hit list? They’re also a cinch to make and cover pretty much all of the food groups. Popcorn is a vegetable, right?

Reese's Peanut Butter Cups Cake recipe

When is a Bundt cake more like a candy bar? When two cups’ worth of chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are mixed into the thick batter. To take this cake over the top, drizzle the top with a bittersweet chocolate icing. To create a little crunch, substitute Snickers or Almond Joys for the smooth peanut cups.

This is not your average punch, which is often so mild, calling it “punch” seems like a joke. What balances out the sweetness from this brew’s cranberry apple drink and limeade are Red Hots, tiny cinnamon candies that are true to their name. Warning: They’ll turn your tongue bright red!

Chocolate and Malt Ball Pudding Recipe

Want a different take on chocolate pudding? Make a batch with Whoppers, those malted-milk balls you loved as a kid. The nutrition police may even be pleased—this milk-based snack is loaded with potassium, but still delivers great chocolaty flavor!

You want a mouthful of heaven? Bite into one of these chocolate cookies, whose flavorful center is filled with Rolos, a candy made milk chocolate and caramel. Since things could get sticky, be sure to line your baking sheets with parchment paper so the cookies come off the pan easily.

One of the best-selling candies in the world, M&Ms are the perfect confection (after all, they melt in your mouth, not in your hand!). They’re also the perfect add-in to the recipe’s batter, which consists of marshmallows and crispy-rice cereal bars. The hardest step? Waiting for the bars to cool before eating.
