In a video with E! News, the Real Housewives of Orange County star — whotook home the first place trophy at her first Muscle Mania competition Saturday — shared just how she whipped herself into shape.
“Mess with me! Go ahead, bring it!” she jokes in the clip with her trainer at CUT Fitness. When it comes to the workout routine, Judge, 48, did everything from sprints to pull-ups to bicep curls.
“This workout’s a little bit different than what we used to do,” she says. “We would do just split body parts and just lifting weights, but now it’s shredding time, so I got the high intensity workout.”
Of course, working out is only one component of her new routine. According to Judge, “the biggest part of training is your eating.”
“Enjoying food is pretty much out of the question now,” says the Bravo star, sautéeing veggies and meat in her kitchen. “Right now, I’m eating to live, I’m not living to eat.”
And Judge’s food preparation is no joke — it takes about two hours!
“I’ll do two different types of protein,” she says. “I’ll just put them together in these little containers and that way when I have to go, I just grab them, I put them in my little lunch bag and I take off.”
At the end of the day though, it’s worth it: Judge is down to just 110 lbs.
“I lost about 11 percent body fat, and gained 11 percent of lean muscle,” she adds.
