Steph and Ayesha Curry Just Won the 'Mannequin Challenge' Sweeping the Internet

In case you’ve been too preoccupied with the insanity that is the 2016 election, there has been a new trend dominating social media over the weekend: the Mannequin Challenge.

Basically, it consists of an entire room of people freezing like mannequins for an extended period of time. Think of it like a flash mob, but lazier. From professional sports locker rooms to high school classrooms, it seems no area is safe from the epidemic.

On Saturday night, Steph and Ayesha Curry pulled off what may be the most flawless execution of the challenge yet to celebrate the final night of her San Francisco pop-up restaurant International Smoke.

“Soooo. This happened!” the NBA star posted on Instagram (below), along with a spooky video of every person in the restaurant—diners, guests, waiters, bartenders—all completely frozen in place. And all we can say is: wow wow wow. Are these humans even blinking? Breathing?

If you look closely, you’ll spot the pair — Steph saddled up to the bar getting ready to take a shot of what we can only guess is Jägermeister, and Ayesha clad in chef’s whites serving up a gorgeous plate of food.

In June, Ayesha — a new Food Network host and cookbook author — launched the pop-up barbecue restaurant with chef Michael Mina. Though its run has now come to an end, the Golden State Warriors star hinted at another forthcoming venture between the two.

“Last night at @chefmichaelmina test kitchen for #international smoke and they’re on to the next!” he captioned. No word on whether any mannequins will be involved.
