Oreo

Thank you, Oreo, for bringing two classic cookie flavors together in one snack.

Nabisco announced on Monday that the latest creation to come out of the cookie vault is Choco Chip flavored Oreos—and the new twist is sure to delight.

The limited-edition pack, available nationwide this July for $4.49, is made up of the first-ever “dual flavored wafer.” That means you’ll get a taste of both the golden and chocolate cookies when you take that first bite. Inside lies a chocolate chip crème sure to be reminiscent of the cookie dough version of the iconic treat.

Now keep in mind that the new Oreo will be less like the gooey, homemade chocolate chip cookies you used to get at grandma’s house (this is an Oreo after all), and more likely to give you that crunch of the original.

The flavor was released in conjunction with the opening of the Oreo Wonder Vault in Los Angeles. The popup shop—located at 1555 W. Sunset Blvd. from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.—is the “epicenter of cookie exploration” where fans can get a first taste of the new Choco Chip Oreo.
