There are few things better in this world than hot, fried dough. So, when there’s a chance to snag free fried dough, it’s worth getting excited about.
Friday, June 5, is National Doughnut Day, and some of your favorite doughnut makers will be giving away sweet freebies to celebrate the occasion.
Mark your calendars, America, and go get your free doughnuts!
Dunkin’ outlets worldwide will be giving out a free doughnut with the purchase of any beverage. So, if you happen to be traveling to, say, Indonesia—you can get yourself a free black cheese doughnut on Friday! (Yes, those really do exist.)
Doughnuts for everyone! This deal requires no purchase—so just walk into your local Krispy Kreme store, pick out any type of doughnut you want, and voilà—walk away happy!
It’s not quite a free doughnut (but still free!): Winn Dixie grocery stores will be giving away one doughnut hole per customer at their in-store bakery counters.
No, this isn’t technically a free doughnut giveaway—but Entenmann’s has partnered up with the Salvation Army (who originally established National Doughnut Day to commemorate the women who served doughnuts to soldiers during World War I) for a Facebook sweepstakes where by simply entering you could win free doughnuts for a year. For every entry, $1 will be donated to the Salvation Army. All entries must be received by midnight on July 3, so keep that in mind as well.
Because who doesn’t love a year’s supply of free doughnuts, all for a good cause?
