There’s no contesting that pizza is one of the best things on earth — as is bacon. But, when the two combine, is it genius or is it a heart attack waiting to happen?

Maybe a little of both.

Little Caesars is rolling out a bacon-wrapped deep-dish pie from Feb. 23 through late April. The 8-corner franken-pizza will be wrapped in more than 3.5 feet of bacon and topped with cheese, pepperoni and “even more chewy pieces of savory bacon goodness,” the company says a press release.

Because one pork product is never enough.

It’s unabashedly delicious,” Edward Gleich, senior vice president of global marketing, says of the $12 vegetarian nightmare. “That’s why we like to say, ‘In Bacon We Crust!'”
