The Places singer's enviable fit body is thanks in part to her ability to say "no"
“I’m good in the sense that I’ve never eaten fast food. I do not drink soda. I don’t eat candy,” she recently told E! News. The singer, who released her new album, Places, on Friday, says she keeps her house filled with only healthy foods so when she wants to binge it’s “good food that’s worth it.”
Regular SoulCycle classes and long hikes also allow Michele to go a little overboard from time to time. “I love working out. I work out to feel good but also so I can eat whatever I want,” she says. “I want to be able to enjoy myself. I’m Italian. I like to eat big meals. I love red wine. And you know also when you’re traveling and stuff like that I like trying new restaurants and going on adventures, so I can’t limit myself.”

The Glee star is not one to shy away from showing off her hard work and dedication on Instagram. She recently explained to Ellen DeGeneres how a series of photos of herself on different beds got “more and more naked.”
“It started very simple,” she said. “[Photographer] Mario Testino has the Towel Series where he has celebrities take pictures in towels, so I did my sort of lamer version — the Bed Series — of traveling all the time and being in different beds.”
Since its creation, Michele has incorporated friends like her hairdresser Sarah Potempa and stylist Brad Goreski to join in on the fun. “I’m getting people to do them with me,” she said. “It’s become a fun little … sort of naked thing. I’m fine with being naked!”
