Take a Tour of Lance Bass and Husband Michael Turchin's Colorful L.A. Home
THE LIVING ROOM
"This is where we like to have game nights with friends. This is where it all goes down," Bass says of this naturally lit room that includes a bar area, billiards table and fireplace. The eclectic décor is full of personal touches like the couple's coffee table book collection and artwork – some of them originals by Turchin – inspired by their travels.
Bass, an avid cook, calls this his "favorite room in the house." And with stainless steel appliances, matte wood floors and white subway tiles, the inviting, bright space is perfect for culinary creativity. "I like to pretend I'm Gordon Ramsay and yell at him," Bass teases.
According to Turchin, the couple's style is a mix of classic and modern – and this rustic wooden sideboard adorned with bright yellow lamps is a perfect example.
"So many celebrity bums have been on this toilet," Bass jokes. And if you squint, you can take note of the creative use of his Moon Man statue: "I think the MTV Video Music Award was specifically designed to hold a toilet paper roll," he says.
THE LOUNGE AREA
A pale pink-and-blue color scheme coupled with natural light from floor-to-ceiling glass gives this space – part of the couple's bedroom – a cozy yet vibrant feel.
