“You dolls know that I am all about keeping on top of the newest health and workout trends,” she wrote. “There are some that make me a little nervous, though!”
One trend Kardashian, 31, just can’t get behind is drinking activated charcoal-infused juices.
“What? People drink this? NAY for me,” she posted.
Activated charcoal allegedly provides detoxifying effects, including glowing skin, better breath, improved digestion and hangover help, but there is little scientific research to support these claims, reports TIME.
“People anecdotally swear by it for a lot of these different things,” Dr. Maged Rizk, a gastroenterologist at Cleveland Clinic, told the magazine. “But the studies haven’t been done.”
Kardashian also dismisses the idea of a adhering to gluten-free diet.
“I don’t have Celiac disease, so it’s a NAY for me,” she explained.
And while many celebrities swear by juice cleanses for quick slimdowns, the Kocktails with Khloé host is not a fan of the concept.
“I’ve never done a juice cleanse and I don’t plan to,” she said. “I need to chew! This is a NAY for me.”
Kardashian did give a “yay” to probiotics, microorganisms that have varied health benefits, including treatment of diarrhea and eczema.
“I live and swear by probiotics,” she said. “Probiotics occur naturally in yogurt, but I take acidophilus pills instead! Big YAY!”
The reality star is also a fan of CrossFit.
“Have you seen me beast in the gym?” she wrote. “Definitely a YAY for the high-intensity workout CrossFit!”
