Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos‘s recent Christmas gifts to pals like Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper gives new meaning to the phrase “Home Sweet Home.”
The celebrity power couple seems to enjoy giving gingerbread houses from The Solvang Bakery in California, a locally loved spot that’s known for their gorgeous edible homes. Calling Ripa “kind of our favorite client,” bakery owner Melissa Redell tells PEOPLE that the Live with Kelly and Michael host had been sending the gingerbread homes for almost 10 years.
“The gingerbread houses are like her signature gift or tradition … I think a lot of people have started ordering them because of her,” she says.
CNN anchor Cooper shared a pic of his gift on Instagram, calling it “such a great Christmas present” and saying that Ripa and Consuelos were “the best friends ever.”
Cohen’s house came with signs over the door saying “Andy” and “Wacha” (his beagle-foxhound mix), and there’s even a tiny gingerbread version of the dog. The Watch What Happens Live host wrote that his apartment was now a “holiday wonderland.”
Ripa gave Solvang some Instagram love back around Halloween, and Redell confirmed that the couple ordered “about 40” houses, though so far we’ve only spotted postings about Cooper’s and Cohen’s. We’ll certainly be keeping an eye out for anyone else lucky enough to score some of these stylish sweets.
