Tequila lovers, listen up—you’re going to want to hear this. An tequila-filled train ride to Tequila, Mexico exists, and Jose Cuervo is behind it.

The Jose Cuervo Express takes guests on a round-trip luxury train ride from Guadalajara, Mexico to Tequila, Mexico—the birthplace of the eponymous alcohol.

Traveling through the blue agave fields that bring tequila to life, the train shuttles riders to Tequila, where they will experience mariachi, Mexican games and entertainment, a visit to the agave fields, a professional tasting guided by a “maestro tequilero” and a tour of La Rojeña, the oldest distillery in Latin America and home to the company’s production.

The trip from Guadalajara to Tequila is a little under 40 miles, and cocktails and snacks will be served along the way. And these aren’t just light refreshments—the tequila drinks will certainly be flowing as staff make sure riders have drinks in their hand.

The Jose Cuervo Express runs every Saturday, and each experience lasts around 11 hours in total. When buying your ticket you can choose between three packages: The Express Experience, the Premium Experience and the Premium Plus Experience. While the activities will remain the same amongst each experience, the Premium packages will offer more exclusive and luxurious coaches on the train, and tastings of different kinds of premium liquors, including 100% agave tequila.
