All the Details on Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Cutter Dykstra's Gorgeous Floral Wedding Cake (PHOTO)
The Sopranos alum and longtime love Cutter Dykstra married on Jan. 16.
When it came to their wedding cake, Jamie-Lynn Sigler and pro baseball player Cutter Dykstra turned to pastry chef Chantal Carter to dream up a design that would perfectly align with the wedding’s laid-back theme.
“Jamie wanted the feel of her wedding to be whimsical yet simple, and create something that really celebrated them as a couple,” Carter tells PEOPLE of her meeting with the actress, who recently revealed her 15-year battle with MS.
The couple, who wed on Jan. 16 at the Parker Palm Springs hotel in Palm Springs, California, met with Carter to finalize flavors — a medley of their favorites, which were all featured in the four-tier cake. The first three tiers were comprised of Tahitian vanilla bean cake, fresh raspberry jam and vanilla bean buttercream. As for the bottom tier, the couple went with a southern red velvet cake filled with vanilla custard.
While the entire cake was decorated with white fondant, Carter adorned each layer with fresh flowers for a touch of vibrance.

“She chose white and neutral floral arrangements for the tables, but the flowers on the cake had pops of fuchsia, purple, lime and lavender,” Carter says of the statement-making floral accents.
So, what did the bride and groom think? “Jamie wrote a sweet note saying she loved everything and that we made their day magical,” recounts Carter.
