When she’s not cleansing or food stamp challenging, Gwyneth Paltrow is eating well.

On Monday, the actress and lifestyle guru published a list of her 13 favorite restaurants in N.Y.C. on her site, Goop.

“Given N.Y.C.’s constantly changing restaurant landscape, it’s hard for an Angeleno to keep up — there are still plenty of things to try, but here’s an ever-evolving list of favorites,” the article reads. “Below, some new, not-so-new, or in a few cases, ages-old spots that never disappoint — in alphabetical order.”

Her picks span several styles of cooking — from Jewish soul food to upscale Italian to experimental Japanese — and even price ranges. Barney Greengrass, an iconic (albeit bare-bones) Jewish deli that specializes in smoked sturgeon, ranks among her top picks, as does Gramercy Tavern, a decidedly high-end N.Y.C. institution that favors her brand of artisanal-local-seasonal cuisine. Other favorites include Russ & Daughters, Ramen Lab, Pearl Oyster Bar, Momofuku, Jungsik, Elio’s, Decoy, Daruma-Ya Soba Izakaya, Casa Mono, Emilio’s Ballato and Buvette.

We will say there’s a noticeable lack of Mexican and B.B.Q, two foods New York does remarkably well despite borrowing both, but overall, the list is impressively inclusive.
