Paula Deen is getting back into the cookbook game.

The celebrity chef is set to release her 15th cookbook entitled Paula Deen Cuts the Fat on September 8. The news comes just days after Deen announced she is launching a daily radio show and a weekly podcast.

Her first cookbook since 2011, it will also mark a new chapter for the former Food Network star. Famous for her rich, buttery Southern dishes, the new book will focus on healthier fare — most likely a reflection of her current lifestyle. After being diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, Deen dropped 40 lbs. in 2013.

“I created 200 amazing light recipes,” Deen tells PEOPLE exclusively. “Plus, I cut the calories from 50 of my favorite classic dishes. The best part is that the same delicious southern taste remains.”

The new cookbook will include Southern-inspired recipes such as nutty sweet potato balls, crabby shrimp dip, Savannah gumbo, southwest chicken enchiladas and flourless chocolate fudge cake.

Deen has kept a relatively low profile since 2013, when she faced fallout as the result of a lawsuit that claimed she used racial slurs in the kitchen of her Savannah, Georgia restaurant, Uncle Bubba’s Oyster House. The scandal caused her to lose many of her corporate sponsors and book deals and also get dropped from the Food Network.

However, in the past year, Deen has launched her own online network and made appearances at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival in February.
