We thought it was impossible to improve upon doughnuts — but we were very, very wrong.

A Prague café called Good Food Coffee and Bakery is gaining worldwide attention for its trdelníks: cinnamon-flavored, deep-fried dough spirals that make very, very photogenic vessels for ice cream, apples, whipped cream, berries and Nutella.

Trdelníks may be a traditional dessert for the lucky citizens of the Czech Republic, but to us, these cone-like pastries — often coated in melted chocolate — are the most spectacularly modern things we’ve ever seen.

Naturally, we’ve spent all day looking at Instagram photos of them, and we advise you do the same.
