Nibble on this: 5 things happening in the world of food you should know.
1. Chrissy Teigen has a sneaky trick for getting the best table at a restaurant.
Alas, it only works for famous people who are married to other famous people, unfortunately. In an impromptu Q&A session on Twitter on Monday night, the model-foodie shared that booking dinner reservations with stage names is the way celebrities get a “better table.” Teigen also revealed that she uses her husband John Legend’s name to lock in a great spot at a restaurant, but admits she will “then kick him out of my girls dinner.” We shamelessly admit we would so do this, too.
2. Rapper 2 Chainz is opening a new tapas restaurant in Atlanta.
The rapper is partnering with the owner of The Hookah Hideaway to open up “Escobar Lounge,” reports What Now Atlanta. The restaurant will offer a tapas-style menu and is set to open in November. While this will be 2 Chainz’s first restaurant, this isn’t his first foray into the food world. To accompany his 2013 album B.O.A.T.S. II #METIME, he offered a 26-page digital cookbook called #MEALTIME.
6. P.F. Chang’s recalls 200,000 lbs. of frozen chicken and beef meals due to metal fragments.
ConAgra Foods, the company that manufacturers P.F. Chang’s home frozen meals, discovered small metal fragments (2-9mm) in products containing beef and chicken, according to the United States Department of Agriculture. The metal—which was first discovered by an employee who spotted metal fragments in sugar bought from a supplier—may be mixed in the sauce contained in the frozen packages. The recall does not affect food served at the restaurant chain locations: “The P.F. Chang’s home menu brand and what is served in the P.F. Chang’s restaurants are completely different,” P.F. Chang’s spokesperson Josh Buchmann tells PEOPLE. “At [the restaurants], everything is made from scratch and hand-made. There’s a very thorough prep process that would not allow things to happen like this.” All recalled foods have been removed from shelves, according to ConAgra representative Kristine Mulford and the company is still determining when the products will be available again.
3. Chick-fil-A removed their spicy chicken biscuit and original BBQ sauce from the menu, and Twitter is heated.
Okay, maybe not heated, but they’re really, really disappointed. The company’s Twitter account spent much of its time Monday consoling disappointed customers. Breakfast competitor Bojangles took the opportunity to throw a little good-natured shade, telling its followers that their spicy chicken sandwiches are still up for grabs. “We did it first, we did it best and we’re still doing it. #CajunFilet”, the franchise wrote on its Twitter page.
4. Marble tiered cakes are the latest wedding trend we’re ooohing and aaahing over.
Last week, we were marveling over those gorgeous crystal geode cakes. This week, we’re marveling at these mesmerizing confections.
5. An adult coloring book cookbook is coming out, and we are hungry for it.

Probably not, but now you’ll have the chance anyway with Adrianna Adarme’s A Cozy Coloring Cookbook, reports Eater.
