The former Fixer Upper stars plan to break ground next month
Having a cup of joe with Chip and Jo could be in your future.
Chip and Joanna Gaines are planning to open a new coffee shop in Waco, TX, Magnolia spokesman John Marsicano tells PEOPLE.
“I can confirm that we will be breaking ground on our newest project, a coffee shop, early next month—our tentative plan is to open by year’s end,” he says. “An official name for the coffee shop has not yet been announced, but we’re excited to share more details in the coming weeks!”
The Waco Tribune-Herald, which first reported the news, added that the coffee shop will offer a full-service coffee bar, fresh-baked pastries and an assortment of teas at the shop, with a to-go window and indoor-outdoor seating. The shop will be located at 418 S. Eighth Street, a block away from the couples’ Magnolia Market at the Silos, in a building that formerly housed CrossFit Waco.
The upcoming shop will join their ever-growing food empire—the Gaines also run Magnolia Table, Chip’s dream brunch spot, and Silos Baking Co., which highlights Joanna’s passion for baking.

But Joanna is also still as focused as ever on her first love: home design.
Earlier this month, the former Fixer Upper star announced that she teamed up with Anthropologie to launch a collection of globally-inspired rugs and pillows that are now available on the retailer’s site.
“For me, Anthropologie has long been a source of inspiration,” Gaines said of the launch, which includes 19 pieces. “So this collaboration felt like a fun and natural pairing.”
