Carvel Turned Their Fudgie the Whale Cake Into Ice Cream Pints for the First Time Ever
If you’ve ever wanted an entire Fudgie The Whale cake all for yourself, Carvel is ready to make your dreams come true.
For the first time ever, the ice cream company has released pint-sized versions of their famous ice cream cakes just in time for Valentine’s Day. In addition to their whale cake, they’re also turning the Cookie Puss character cake into take-home pints, which can be ordered only via delivery services such as GrubHub, DoorDash or UberEats.
The Fudgie the Whale personal pints feature two layers of chocolate and vanilla ice cream separated by a layer of Carvel’s signature Crunchies. The cake made its debut in the 1970s as a Father’s Day cake, but has become a popular item for any type of gathering.
The Cookie Puss cake version is similar but topped with a crumble chocolate chip cookie.
Though not as well known, the character was also released in the 1970s and is a “space alien born on Planet Birthday who’s the perfect companion to any celebration,” according to a press release.

Each pint is topped with whipped cream and chocolate sauce, sending you right back down memory lane if it’s been awhile since you’ve had one of the Carvel cakes.
The deal lasts until February 15 so if you don’t have Valentine’s Day plans already, Carvel has got your back.
