Maybe “celebrate” isn’t quite the right word.

Broad City‘s Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer experience the Jewish date of atonement, Yom Kippur, which requires fasting from sundown on September 22 to sundown September 23, in the latest episode of their Hack Into Broad City web series.

Despite “carbo-loading” the night before, Glazer and Jacobson are tortured by the bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches sitting in their beds, which they can’t consume for another four hours until the sun sets.

As you might imagine, lounging in bed with a sandwich is just setting yourself up for failure. Glazer and Jacobson Facetime throughout the harrowing ordeal, repeating how hungry they are and listing their sins.

“I don’t get Yom Kippur. It sucks,” Glazer says.

“It’s like, how is me waiting until the sun sets to eat this bacon, egg and cheese going to cancel out the time I laughed in that hot dude’s face about his weird-shaped nipples mid-coitus? It’s not,” Jacobson adds.

Do they crack? Watch the video. Side note: We will not rest until we find Glazer’s Kanye blanket and procure it for our homes.
