Ben & Jerry's

If Tax Day has you binge-eating from stress, we’ve got another thing for you to stuff your face with.

Free Cone Day at Ben & Jerry’s.

On April 14, the Vermont-based company will be offering up its annual treat of free ice cream cones — any flavor of your choosing, including the new Jimmy Fallon variety — from 12-8 p.m. at scoop shop locations around the world.

Free Cone Day started in 1979 as a “way of saying thanks to all the fans of the world” (according to its cheerful promotional video). Ben & Jerry’s estimates it will give away over a million free scoops this year.

Unfortunately for the over-21 crowd, Free Cone Day won’t include Ben & Jerry’s most recent collaboration. The ice cream giant is teaming up with New Belgium Brewing to bring customers a new delightful-sounding beer: Salted Caramel Brownie Brown Ale, hitting shelves in the fall of 2015.

Even though the sweet brew isn’t yet available for Free Cone Day, we’ve still got a lot of frozen goodness to look forward to. The best part? (Besides, well, ice cream of course.) The company doesn’t have any restrictions limiting one serving per customer — so you can go back for seconds, thirds, fourths. No judgments.
