Ben & Jerry's Has 7 New Ice Cream Flavors Topped with a Layer of Chocolate Ganache
The collection includes seven (!!) new flavors.
Ben & Jerry's has proved time and time again that they are the ultimate ice cream innovators — and their latest release is truly over-the-top.
The Vermont-based ice cream company just announced its first new ice cream collection of 2021: the Topped Line. Featuring seven flavors, each pint is finished with a layer of rich chocolate ganache and chunks of sweet candies.
All of the flavors sound super dreamy: Chocolate Caramel Cookie Dough, PB Over the Top, Salted Caramel Brownie, Strawberry Topped Tart, Thick Mint, Tiramisu, and Whiskey Biz — which was made in partnership with Vermont's WhistlePig Whiskey.
In true Ben & Jerry's fashion, each pint is swirled with tons of goodness. Salted Caramel Brownie features vanilla ice cream that is swirled with caramel and fudge brownies then topped with chocolate ganache and sprinkled with caramel cups while Whiskey Biz is a brown butter bourbon ice cream with blonde brownie morsels and whiskey caramel swirls then finished with white chocolate ganache and white fudge pieces. All the options are like intricate ice cream sundaes wrapped in a pint!
"We wanted to dial up the indulgence level with this unique line of flavors, which entirely challenges HOW you eat this ice cream," said Dena Wimette, Ben & Jerry's Innovation Guru in a statement. "We started with sundaes and all the things you add to sundaes to make them great as our inspiration. You could say we ended up going over the Topped."
Don't worry, you don't have to wait to get your hands on these because they're all currently available at grocery stores nationwide. Each pint retails between $4.99-$5.49 depending on location.
