Lifestyle Food Justin Smille's Tuna & Avocado Sandwich By People Staff Published on August 2, 2016 05:19 PM Share Tweet Pin Email Photo: Christopher Testani Justin Smille’s Tuna & Avocado Sandwich 1 ripe avocado3 tbsp. finely chopped fresh cilantro2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil2 tbsp. plain yogurt1 tbsp. fresh lime juice½ tsp. kosher salt, divided4 pumpernickel bread slices, lightly toasted½ cup chopped celery (from 1 stalk)2 tsp. sesame seeds1 tsp. rice wine vinegar½ tsp. sesame oil1 (6-oz.) can oil-packed tuna, drained¼ cup alfalfa sprouts 1. Using a fork, mash avocado in a medium bowl. Stir in cilantro, olive oil, yogurt, lime juice and ¼ teaspoon salt. Spread evenly on 1 side of each bread slice. 2. Combine celery, sesame seeds, vinegar, sesame oil and remaining ¼ teaspoon salt in a small bowl. Add tuna; toss gently to combine, keeping tuna pieces intact as much as possible. Top 2 bread slices evenly with tuna mixture and sprouts. Cover with remaining 2 bread slices. Makes: 2Active time: 15 minutesTotal time: 15 minutes
