Los Angeles authorities are seeking the public’s help in locating a woman they believe may have information regarding her half-sister’s killing – and the disappearance of the slain woman’s three children.
On August 14, a motorist came across the dead body of Kimberly Harvill on the side of the road in Lebec, California. Harvill had died as a result of head trauma, a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s news release states.
During their investigation, authorities learned that Harvill’s three children, Joslynn, 2, Brayden, 3, and Rylee, 5, were missing.
Investigators are now looking for Harvill’s half-sister, Brittany Humphrey, and Joshua Robertson, who were allegedly last seen with the victim’s children. The pair is believed to have fled the state.

According to the news release, a warrant was issued for the pair’s arrest on suspicion of kidnapping.
Humphrey and Robertson are believed to be armed and dangerous. Robertson has a criminal history, according to the statement.
The children’s godmother, identifying herself only as Michelle, told NBC News Los Angeles that she’s extremely worried.
“I’m scared,” she said. “I’m worried about them I’m wanting them to be found alive and OK. I want answers. I can’t sleep. I haven’t slept in days.”
The couple are believed to be driving Harvill’s green 1999 Ford Expedition, which may have California licenses plates or perhaps paper plates.
