She was shot at her show in Orlando, and unfortunately didn’t survive the gun shot wounds,” her rep tells PEOPLE. “We ask at this time that you respect the privacy of her family and friends in their time of mourning.” A GoFundMe page has been set up to support Grimmie’s family, adds her rep. Orlando police confirmed in a tweet that the 22-year-old Voice alum was the victim in the shooting and that two people were shot at The Plaza Live venue. “The suspect, who police have not identified, then shot himself. Grimmie competed on season six of NBC’s singing competition representing Adam Levine‘s team. The Marlton, New Jersey native ultimately came in third.
