Vanilla Ice has been arrested and charged Wednesday with burglarizing an abandoned home in Florida.

The former rapper – whose real name is Robert Van Winkle – allegedly broke into a foreclosed house in Lantana, Florida, sometime between December and February of this year and stole furniture, a pool heater, bicycles and other items, authorities tell the Associated Press.

Van Winkle, 47, is best known for his 1990 hit song “Ice Ice Baby” – but the ex-rapper has recently hosted The Vanilla Ice Project on DIY Network. Van Winkle had been renovating a home next door to the abandoned house for his home improvement show, and according to Palm Beach County police, some of the stolen items were found at the renovated house. He has been charged with burglary of residence and grand theft, according to CNN.

Calls to Van Winkle’s rep have not been returned. The DIY Network said in a statement that it “has been made aware of this situation and is currently looking into the matter.”
