A fatal shooting near the University of Maryland campus in Baltimore left three people dead and one person injured.
Police responded to a report of a shooting at around 10:30 p.m. just a few blocks from the school campus, CBS News reports.
Officers found a woman and two men with gunshot wounds. One man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other two were taken to a nearby hospital, where they later died.
A fourth person, a woman, walked into another hospital with a gunshot wound from the incident. She is listed in stable condition, police said Wednesday morning. Authorities do not believe any of the victims were students.
According to UMB police, who first reported the shooting, two light-colored vans pulled over alongside the group of four and began firing.
Students have been advised to use caution in the area.
Just five days earlier, shots were fired into a vehicle traveling on the same block where Tuesday night’s shooting occurred, according to The Baltimore Sun.
