Tinsley Mortimer Seen for the First Time Since She Was Arrested for Allegedly Trespassing on Ex-Boyfriend's Property

Tinsley Mortimer is keeping busy.
The former New York City socialite, who now lives in Florida, was spotted out and about in Deerfield Beach Tuesday – marking the first time photos of the star have surfaced since she was arrested for allegedly trespassing on her ex-boyfriend Nico Fanjul’s property April 9.
Mortimer, 40, was spotted leaving the offices of furniture brand Impulse, wearing a black dress and Valentino heels with her blonde hair styled in loose waves.
She was also carrying a large purse and a few folders.
In the weeks after Mortimer’s trespassing arrest at her ex-boyfriend, sugar heir Nico Fanjul’s home in Palm Beach, revelations about the pair’s volatile history emerged.
Police reports from 2013 detailed an incident of alleged domestic violence which resulted in Mortimer’s hospitalization for a head injury, and two police reports from 2014 revealed further incidents between the couple in which Fanjul reportedly smothered her with a pillow and pushed her head to the pavement.
When reached by PEOPLE at the time, Fanjul, 30, had no comment.
A source previously close to Mortimer told PEOPLE in April that the arrest “doesn’t make any sense to me at all.”
“Men were always interested in her and I never saw her be over-eager,” said the source. “I saw so many guys circle around her and so many guys pursue her and she never was one of those girls that really wanted a guy – she was always being pursued, she was never the pursuer.”
The source also said Mortimer “was very careful in who she got involved with” and “was very picky and not desperate, ever.”
However, another insider told PEOPLE Mortimer and Fanjul’s relationship had long been tumultuous: “Tinsley gets jealous and Nico can be a bully,” said the source. “He is aware of who he is and can push it around to a fault.”
Mortimer was previously married to oil legacy Topper Mortimer and starred in her own CW reality show High Society in 2010.
