Search Underway for Missing Texas Teen Potentially in 'Grave Danger' After Father Was Found Fatally Shot and Burned
Authorities believe Adriana Coronado may have witnessed her father's slaying, and then was abducted
Police in Texas are searching for the 14-year-old daughter of a man whose body was found Monday morning.
PEOPLE confirms the search for Adriana Coronado is in full swing after authorities discovered her father, Caesar Vladimir Coronado, had been killed.
The father’s remains were located near a ditch in a rural area of Walker County on Sunday, per NBC News.
Investigators claim he’d been shot and his body burned. Officers also found his truck abandoned not far from Houston; the vehicle had also been set ablaze.

Authorities believe Adriana may have witnessed her father’s slaying, and that the person or people responsible then abducted the girl.
Investigators believe she is in grave danger, and an Amber Alert was issued Monday to make the public aware of her disappearance.
“Please return my daughter back cause I’m dying with hurt,” Coronado’s mom told KHOU 11 News in Spanish on the phone. “Oh my God. This is my only daughter please return her to me.”
Adriana stands five feet tall and weighs 105 pounds. Her hair is black and her eyes are brown. She’s usually wearing her black-framed glasses.
