Susan Sarandon‘s Manhattan home was burglarized late Saturday night, the New York Police Department confirms to PEOPLE.

Among the items stolen were a camera, a laptop and some of the actress’s jewelry.

Sarandon, 67, is currently out of town; however, her son Miles Robbins, 22, was at the house on Saturday and stepped out for the evening between 8 and 9 p.m., authorities say.

When he returned around 3:30 a.m., Miles realized someone had been inside the home and called police, who believe the intruder likely entered the home through a terrace window or door.

The total value of the property stolen is still unknown as authorities are waiting for Sarandon to return home and asses her belongings.

PEOPLE has reached out to Sarandon’s rep for comment.
