Crime 'Star Trek: Voyager' Actress Jennifer Lien Arrested for Indecent Exposure The actress is best known for playing Kes on three seasons of the Star Trek spinoff By Drew Mackie Published on September 15, 2015 10:00 PM Share Tweet Pin Email Photo: Everett Jennifer Lien, an actress best known for a role on Star Trek: Voyager, was arrested Harriman, Tennessee, on Sept. 3 on charges of indecent exposure. CNN reports that Lien was arrested on a warrant at her home on two counts of exposing herself to a child under the age of 13. The incident began when Lien allegedly confronted a neighbor about her children. An argument followed, and according to the neighbor, Carey Smith, Lien then exposed herself. “All of a sudden, here come the shirt up,” Smith told Tennessee news station WATE. “She started flashing and, ‘Woo hoo,’ and I said, ‘And what respect is that for kids?’ There was none. And then she turned around and dropped her pants.” When police arrived at Lien’s home, she was unclothed but laying beneath a blanket. She allegedly refused to comply with officers, at one point threatening to have them shot and killed. CNN reports that Lien refused to walk to the patrol car, and officers had to carry her. TMZ reports that Lien is, as of Tuesday night, still in the Roane County Detention Center. Her bail was set at $2,500. The Roane County News notes that Lien was charged with evading arrest, resisting arrest, reckless endangerment and aggravated assault following a 2012 incident. On Star Trek: Voyager, Lien played Kes, a member of an alien race that only lives for nine years. Lien was a regular on the series’ first three seasons. She left the show in 1997. She also appeared in the 1998 film American History X. Want to keep up with the latest crime coverage?
