After nearly a year of battling it out in court, Sherri Shepherd has finally settled her nasty divorce with Lamar Sally and the fight for financial responsibility over their baby born via surrogate last summer.

The former View co-host will pay $4,100 per month in child support for 10 month-old son Lamar Jr. until the child turns 13, at which point her payments will increase to $4,600, TMZ reports.

The settlement comes just months after the 48-year-old TV personality was officially listed as the legal mother on the birth certificate.

While the case may not have turned out the way that Shepherd had originally hoped, according to the settlement she can still move forward with her fraud claim against Sally, 44, and if the appeals court rules in her favor, she will no longer be obligated to pay child support.

One final request per Shepherd is that the embryos she shares with Sally be destroyed. While he is still reportedly “undecided,” about the matter, should any of them be brought to term, the agreement states that Shepherd will not be financially responsible.
